A vehicle repair work order is used to record an auto repair while detailing the parts and instructions needed to complete an order to repair a vehicle.

Vehicle (Auto) Repair Work Order Details

A vehicle repair work order is mainly used internally within an auto body repair shop, however, they are required to be signed by the customer before any type of service or repairs can be performed. They allow for auto repair companies to apply information for their customers and keep organized records. A work order will be used as an estimate for the customer once all the information is completed. By State Law, a customer seeking auto repair is entitled to a written statement if the final bill exceeds $100, which is almost always the case. Typically a customer will only want to be notified with written approval at a higher amount, whatever that may be.
