What is a Receipt?
A receipt is a record, electronic or paper, that documents a transaction between a customer and a vendor. It should include a description of the item sold, quantity, and price per unit. Separate line items should be made for taxes, shipping, or other fees and the total amount, in bold, on the bottom.
